This morning was wonderful. We slept late and then I got up and made a Potato Fritatta. The Fritatta takes about 1 1/2 hours to make, so as a appetizer for our brunch I made some green beans with almonds. It is so easy, but very tasty.
Green beans. Ends cut off and rinsed.
Put a heavy bottomed pan on medium high heat and then toast your slivered almonds. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the green beans. Cook until desired tenderness.
